ZBM® Implant Surface
The TRI Zirconia Blast Media Surface is created by grit-blasting the machined implants with Zirconia particles in two different roughness levels. The hydrophilic character of the surface allows for immediate blood attraction and accelerated osseointegration.

Reduced roughness on crestal threads: The coronal part down to the end of the crestal threads is blasted with
Zr-particles 60 - 125µ

risk of peri-implantitis

Medium roughness on body threads: The central and apical part of the implant body are blasted with
Zr-particles 150 - 250µ
- Increased osseointegration and bone-to-implant contact
Hydrophilic implant surface:
The hydrophilic properties of the surface attract blood on the thread pattern after minimal contact in the implant site. The accelerated blood attraction suggests faster contact of blood in the capillary pattern of the surface leading to an accelerated osseointegration.
