Through Research Innovative

"TRI" is the abbreviation of "Through Research Innovative" that was created by a group leading practicioners and researchers that had one common objective: to provide a further developed performance-orientated concept of implant technology that is practical and easy in use, but at the same time evidenced by research.

Objectives:
  • Combine practical experiences with clinical research
  • Enhance "easy-of-use" of components whilst maintaining high-quality precision fit
  • Reduce the number of components: Three implant diameters (3.7 / 4.1 / 4.7mm) with only one prosthetic connection (3.5mm)
  • Improved soft tissue concept with a consistent emergence profile across all prosthetic components: healing collars, impression posts and abutments
One of the leading thinkers of this group, Dr. Marius Steigmann (Institut Steigmann) was instrumental in defining the research strategy and extracting the essential parameters required for the development of the TRI® Performance Concept.

On this basis, a further developed implant line was developed called "TRI®-Vent implant line". This implant line incorporates all the advancement of modern implant technology. The concept was tested in multi-center study in Hungary with 5'000 implants in placement. The positive results gave the indication to launch the new implant concept on a global level in 2011.
