No, it's a one-piece abutment and has not an external hexagon. It is suitable for a screw-retained bridge or bridge or bar-treatment. It is not suitable for screw-retained single crowns.

Up to which divergence of the adjacent implants is the  able to balance?
Which deviation of the parallelism of the implants is the „Screw-Retained Abutment, Straight“(Ref. TV40) able to compensate?
The abutment has a 15 ° tapered circular structure. It enables to compensate up to a deviation of 30°, implants to each other.

Which abutment can be used for screw-retained single crowns?
The Gold Castable Abutment (Ref. TV35-50). The abutment has an external-hexagon and is engaging.

Is the „Screw-Retained Abutment, Angled” (Ref. TV50) engaging?
Yes, it is a two-piece abutment, which has an external-hexagon with TRI®-Friction and is therefore engaging.

In which angulations is the „Screw-Retained Abutment, Angled” (Ref. TV50) available?
It is available in with 18° and 30°.

Are the „Screw-Retained Abutments, Angled & Straight” delivered in a sterile packaging?
Yes, they are delivered in a sterile packaging and can be used directly into the patients mouth.

Are impression caps and analogues available for the „Screw-Retained Abutments, Angled & Straight”?
Yes, for the straight as well for the angled abutment are impression caps and analogues available:(Ref. DTC-SRA or DTC-SRA-A
& IA-SRA or IA-SRA-A).

Can the „Screw-Retained Abutments, Angled & Straight” remain into the patient mouth after the impression?
Yes, they can be supplied with a healing-cap after the impression (Ref.  HC-SRAS or HC-SRAS-A).The copings are included into the packaging.

Which components are available for the supra-structure of the „Screw-Retained Abutments, Angled & Straight”?
For a temporary treatment: the „Titanium-Temporary Coping“  (Ref. TTA or TTA-A).
For a finale treatment: the “Plastic Castable Coping” (Ref. PCC or PCC-A)
The plastic-coping is made out of Polyoxymethylen (POM ).

What are the long retaining-screws TTA & TTA-A for?
With this long screw, a patient can be treated chairside with his old prosthesis temporary.

Are the components for the straight and angled screw-retained components the same?

No, the dimension of the circular conical structures of the „Screw-Retained Abutments, Angled & Straight” is different. The components are therefore not the same.
The ref. numbers of the components for the “Screw-Retained Abutment, Angled” are marked with an "A" at its end.

In which cuff-heights the Locator®-Attachments are available?
Available cuff-heights: 0 mm, 2 mm, 4mm, 6mm

Are the metal housing and retention males of the Locator®-Attachments included into the packaging?
No, they must be ordered separately: Ref.: 08519 Content: (two of each) metal housing, nylon ring, blue, pink and white retention coping)


What is the total height of a Locator® Attachment with an attached metal housing & nylon males?
At an internal connection: 2,5mm

How wide is the metal housing of the Locator® Attachments?
It has a diameter of 5,1mm.

What is the black plastic male for which is assembled in the metal housing?

It serves to position of the metal housing during the fixation (polymerization) into the prosthesis (in chairside or in the laboratory). It is not suitable as retention into the patient mouth and must be replaced after the finishing.
Which retention strengths, compared to the peel force, have the 3 nylon retention males, which are supplied in the male-set (Ref. 08519).

For what are the white Teflon™ rings of the male set?
They are, prior to fixation (polymerization) of the metal housing positioned on the Locator® attachment. 
They seal the gap between attachment and metal cap housings.

Which deviation of the parallelism of the implants is the Locator ® Attachment able to compensate?
With the 3 nylon retention sleeves, which are delivered in a male-set:
• up to 20 °, implants to each other.
 
With the green (Ref: 08 547, 1810 retention) and red (article: 08 548, 450g retention) nylon retention sleeves:
• up to 40 °, implants to each other.

Is the Locator® instrument (Article: 08393) a universal instrument?
Yes, it is a universal instrument of Zest Anchors, for all implant systems. It is not a specific instrument for the TRI® products.

What are the three parts of the Locator® instrument for?
•    head part; for the removal of a retention cap
•    central parts: the apply a new retention cap
•    gold colored part: to screw the attachment to the implant

What is the recommended torque for the fixation of a Locator® Attachment on the implant?
30N/cm

With which tool can the Locator® attament screwed on an implant?

There are two possibilities:
• for the TRI® torque wrench (TW) there are two special inserts for the Locator® attachments are available: (Ref. 08393 or 08926)
• With the golden part of the Locator® universal instrument, together with the Hex-Driver long (Ref. THDL). It has an internal fit for 1.25mm Hex-Driver.

In which cuff-heights the Ball-Abutments are available?
Available cuff-heights: 2 mm, 4mm.

Is the cap-attachment housing and the nylon-liner included in the packaging?
Yes, the cap-attachment housing and the nylon-liner "white" (Ref. CAHL) are included in the packaging.

What is the total height of the Ball Abutment with an attached metal housing & nylon retention cap?
Total height: 4,28mm

How wide is the metal housing of the Ball Abutment?
It has a diameter of 5mm.

What are the black and grey plastic males for?
The black cap (Ref. CALB) serves the position of the metal housing during the fixation (polymerization) in the prosthesis (in chairside or in the laboratory). It is not suitable as retention into the patient mouth and must be replaced after the finishing.
The gray sleeve (Ref. CALG) has a stronger retention compared to the peel force. It can be used by an older, slightly worn out ball anchor.

Which deviation of the parallelism of the implants is a Ball Abutment able to compensate?
Up to 28°, implants to each other.

What is the recommended torque for the fixation of a Ball Abutment on the implant?
30N/cm

With witch tool can the Ball Abutment  screwed on an implant?
With the Hex-Driver (Ref. THD or THDL), together with the TRI® torque wrench (TW). It has a fit for 1.25mm Hex-Driver at the top of the ball.

Are the abutments are of TRI® Dental Implants for screw retained restorations or removable dentures are compatible with other systems?
Yes, they are compatible with:
- The 3.5mm platform of the Tapered Screw-Vent® implantat-system of Zimmer Dental
- The 3.5mm platform of the Legacy™ implantat-series of Implant Direct compatibel.

They are not compatible for their platforms 4.5mm & 5.7mm.
