TRI® Performance Concept
4 GOLD STANDARDS IN ONE CONCEPT

The TRI® Dental Implant System integrates four essential technology features. Each feature aims to provide maximum performance and lasting quality for the treatment of the dentist. We combine these elements in the TRI® Performance Concept.

TRI® Soft Tissue Concept
For Long-term esthetic results

The soft-tissue interface is unique and innovative at the same time. The continuous platform switch allows for a consistent and tight soft tissue seal around the implant abutment connection. All prosthetic components integrate a consistent emergence profile – covering all components, from impression post and healing cap to the final abutment.

Consistent emergence profile

The soft tissue interface is smooth and leaves no “dirt pockets” despite its broad platform switching concept. As a result, the soft tissue protects and seals the critical implant-abutment interface.

TRI® Friction
For a secure connection

TRI® Friction is a technologically unique prosthetic connection and an integral element of the TRI® Performance Concept. A production tolerance of 0.006 mm guarantees the perfect and highly precise t of the prosthetic components with long-term stability.

Features
Only Advantages

Press fit for maximal abutment stability
Avoid micro movements between implant and abutment
No screw loosening through rotational stability
Improved handling through retention of the abutment even without screw

Internal conical 45 degree connection to eliminate the micro-gap

Frictional internal hexagon connection for maximum rotational and axial stability

TRI® BONEADAPT
For immediate stability
Body Design

The implant body was designed to provide maximum bone adaptation across the different bone regions along the implant. At the top of the implant, the reverse-tapered neck design reduces forces on crestal bone and platform switching. The groove right below its neck into which all three threads lead, allows a better force distribution under the bone crest.

Furthermore, the macro-threads design of the cervical area exhibits a square-thread pattern which minimizes stress and cortical load, thus better protecting the cortical bone. The well-proven standard 60 degree threads finally increase bone surface area in the spongiosa for optimal bone-to-implant contact.

TRIPLE-LEAD THREADS

Three independent threads start 120° apart and spiral around the implant body and end on the crestal vertical groove. Triple threads provide a lead of 1.8 mm per rotation as an average.

THE SOPHISTICATED BIOMECHANICAL DESIGN OF TRI® IMPLANTS (TRI® BONEADAPT) IS DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE HIGH PRIMARY STABILITY.

A high primary stability of dental implants is a key success factor especially with modern treatment concepts such as early or immediate loading. An ongoing in vitro study* evaluates the primary stability of different implants**. The implants were inserted into artificial bone using a torque gage to determine the maximum insertion torque. The table above shows the measured insertion torques from the tested implant systems***.

TRI® SBA Surface
For predictable Osseointegration

The TRI® SBA (sandblasted, large grit, acid-etched) surface is one of the industry gold standards for more than 20 years. It is created by blasting the implant surface under pressure with corundum particles. In the final step the surface is acid-etched twice in order to attain a medium roughness.

Gingiva coloured implant collar
The Tissue-Level implant features a 1.8 mm machined implant collar for optimal esthetic results in the posterior area.

Machined implant neck
The Bone-Level implants feature a 0.5 mm machined neck in the crestal area.

Medium roughness
The entire implant body is blasted with coarse-grained corundum particles of 200–400 micron before being double acid-etched.

SURFACE STRUCTURE

A macrostructure of 20-40 μm and a micro structure of 2-4 μm as an ideal basis for excellent osseointegration. This structure has been proven by numerous clinical studies for this surface type.

ACHIEVE EXCELLENT RESULTS WITH THE TRI® SBA SURFACE
MEDIUM-ROUGH LARGE-GRIT SANDBLASTED AND ACID ETCHED SURFACES (SUCH AS THE TRI® SBA) OER SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN BEST RESULTS

The recent BDIZ EDI Implant-Study 2014/2015 compares surfaces of 97 dental implant manufacturers. The TRI® SBA medium-rough surface has received the BDIZ EDI certificate that proofs high precision of the implant thread and cleanliness of the implant surface. The TRI® SBA surface is a medium-rough surface.
